Underclassmen shine for Haverhill

Freshman Maggie Franklin won both the 200 and 500 freestyle races, leading Haverhill to its first victory of the year, 97-81 over Billerica. Sophomore Sarah Broderick remained undefeated in the 50 freestyle (3-0) after earning first place in 25 seconds.  She also won the 100 freestyle.

Freshman Kelly Lennon of Methuen has five first place finishes in Methuen's four swim meets this season. Lennon won the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle. Cyanna Roig swept the diving with a score of 176.55.

Jessica Martin and Kelcey Raymond each won an individual event for the Pinkerton girls swim team which went 2-1 in a quad meet at Southern New Hampshire University. Raymond won the 100 nack and Martin captured the 100 breaststroke.

Andover swimmers back atop MVC

A year ago in this meet, Chelmsford High halted Andover's 10-year reign over the Merrimack Valley Conference.

Yesterday, the Warriors made the Lions pay.

In the process of knocking off Chelmsford, 105-79, in the regular season finale, Andover reclaimed its stake to conference supremacy, completing a 12-0 season.
