Jake Hajec's even par 36 led Central Catholic to a 20-0 shutout of Lowell. Dylan Ryan stood out with a 38 while Joe Leavitt, Kevin Desjardins and Jeff Sheehy each scored 39s for the Raiders (4-4).

Pentucket's Vito Martello had a big day on the links. On the par 4 seventh hole, he croaked a 289-yard drive that landed on the green. He one-putted to notch an Eagle. Martello shot a 39 to lead Pentucket past Rockport.

North Andover's Scott Whelan found his home turf to his liking, sizzling to a two-under-par 33 at North Andover Country Club as the Knight golfers thumped Newburyport.

Pinkerton senior golfer Greg Pogga knew he didn't play well when his team lost to Salem by one point earlier in the season and he did something about it yesterday.

Pogga shot a 37, five strokes better than in the previous matchup as the Astros (14-1) upended Salem by three strokes, 189-192. Both teams cruised past Memorial and Nashua North.

Central Catholic absolutely dominated Methuen 18-2. Leading the way was Jake Hajec, who shot a round-low of 37. Kevin Desjardins finished two strokes back with a 39, while Dylan Ryan, Brian Flannery and A.J. Frisone finished three strokes behind the leader with 40s. Jeff Sheehy and Cam Keller shot a 42 and 43, respectively. Methuen's Jake Hulme was the team's lone winner with a round of 44.

Andover defeated Central Catholic, 14.5-5.5 behind the Eric Hooker's 39. Dylan Ryan also shot a 39. Andover winners include Dave Gilbert, Adam Rosenberg, Hooker, Amanda McLaughlin, Mike Tidisco.

Robbie Ficker and Geoff Walker each shot a 45 as Sanborn finished with a team score of 237, 16 ahead of Newmarket but not good enough to pull out the win as Somersworth scored a 231.

Jeff Cohen's 34 helped Salem improve to 12-0 after it defeated Bishop Guertin (197), Nashua South (197) and Londonderry (220). The Blue Devils (188) received strong efforts from Nick Fairweather, who fired a 36, and Devin Redmond, who shot a 38. Londonderry was led by John Jasek and Matt Tobin, who each shot a 40.

Brian Colbert shot a 38 to lead Pinkerton (200) to a win over Concord (210), Winnacunnet (211) and Keene (211). The Astros (8-1) also received strong performances from Tyler Welch and Greg Poggi, who each shot a 39.

North Andover beat Rockport 160-112. Dan Daley and Pat Boyle were the Scarlet Knights' top two scorers.

Pentucket edged Hamilton-Wenham 140-135. Jason Steele scored 35 points, Vito Martello scored 24 points and Ryan Swanson scored 21 points.

Salem swept Dover, Trinity and Manchester Central. Jeff Pettoruto (36) was the medalist and Jeff Cohen shot a 38 for the Blue Devils (9-0). 

Despite 28 points from Jason Steele and Serge Smaila, Pentucket fell to Triton 164-134. Ryan Swanson added 23 points for the Sachems.

Timberlane posted a score of 193 at Exeter CC to defeat the host school (197), Nashua North (236) and Goffstown (209) and move to 8-1 on the season. Alan McCormack's 1-under par 34 earned medalist honors with co-captain Cortney Tilley adding a 38. and Dave Evans and Pat Lorigan had 40s.

Chelmsford topped Haverhill 16-4.

Brendan Denney shot a 38 and won his match 3 and 1. Also, Matt Collins tied his match.
