Mike Dube and Dave Evans of Timberlane will both be competing in the Class L Individual Championship. The championship will be held on Thursday, September 30 at the Bretwood Country Club in Keene, NH.

Joe Leavitt of Central Catholic shot a 33, three under par, at their win against Lowell. He shot three birdies and only one bogey in nine holes.

Freshman Jake Vaiknoras of Pelham shot a 37 at their match against Goffstown and Plymouth.

Craig Farley, Ryan Paris, Gray Marchese of Haverhill all shot a 36, one under par, against Tewksbury.

Nick Fairweather earned medalist honors with an even par 36 at Hanover Country Club, leading Windham High to a tri-meet golf split yesterday.

With standout Joe Leavitt enduring a rare off day, Central Catholic flexed its on-course muscle in a 238-242 win over St. John's Prep at Salem Country Club. Ryan Willis paced the Raiders with a 2-over par round of 38, while Jonathan Morse, Kevin Fay and A.J. Frisone all carded 39s.

Jessie Vaiknoras was the medalist with a 37, and brother Jacob Vaiknoras was right behind him with a 41 as Pelham (206) downed Milford (217) and ConVal (219).

Vito Martello knocked home an eagle-3 on the par-5 eighth hole at Hillview Golf Course, helping lift Pentucket to a 170-158 golf victory over Wilmington. Martello, who finished with 34 quota points, fired a one-over par round of 37, two shots off the sizzling pace of teammate Jason Steele, who carded a one-under par 35, scoring 38 points.

Ryan Butler birdied the final hole to beat out teammate Ryan Greenleaf for medalist honors as Salem swept a quad-meet.

The Vaiknoras clan lifted Pelham golf to an easy sweep of ConVal and Sanborn. Senior captain Jesse Vaiknoras won medalist honors and runner-up was his freshman brother Jake. Their coach and father is Joe Vaiknoras.

Klye Gaudette fired a 36 and Brandon Antonelli finished iwth a 37 as Salem came in second in its tri-meet with Manchester Memorial (thnners with a 188),  Exeter and Nashua North.  The Blue Devils improve to 3-4.

Windham's Nick Fairweather was the medalist on the day with a 37 as the finished second in a quad-meet. Andrew Kalil fired a 41.

Edged out by Nashua North in a tiebreaker, Pinkerton finished second, Londonderry third by a single stroke, and Timberlane placed fourth in a quad meet at Green Meadow Country Club. Medalist honors went to Astros Kyle Dellorusso and Nick Salema as well as Mike Dube of the Owls, all shooting 37s. Chris Ugolini and Bobby Barrett led the Lancers with 38s.

Pelham's Nick Neary shot a 39 to help Pelham win its four-team tournament to start the season.

Pelham shot a 209. ConVal shot 210, followed by Hollis-Brookline (214) and Windham (217). 

Pentucket's Jason Steele claimed second overall, shooting an even-par round of 35 at Bradford Country Club, leading the Sachems to second overall in a four-team meet with the Newburyport (first), Triton and Amesbury. Pentucket moved to 9-6, claiming a pair of victories to lock up a spot in the state tournament. Steele scored 36 points in the Cape Ann quote scoring system, while teammate Vito Martello was fifth at 32.
