Pentucket's boys soccer team continued its late season surge with a 1-0 win over Lynnfield. Liam Sullivan scored in the second half for Pentucket (7-5-3).

Jack Determan and Caleb Ginsburg both scored twice as North Andover whipped Chelmsford, 5-1 to improve to 10-1-3.

Jonathan Diaz scored his 11th goal of the season in the second half as Methuen tied Billerica, 1-1.

Andover's Tyler Ardito scored in the first three minutes of the game and Central's Sam Majewski scored in the final three minutes of the game. The two clubs played to a 1-1 boys soccer tie.

Pentucket boys soccer rallied in the second half to beat Amesbury on Senior Day, 2-1. Alex Bishop tallied the game-winner with four minutes remaining. Liam Sullivan also scored.

North Andover bounced back from its first loss of the season with a solid 5-0 win over Haverhill. Rahul Parampalliscored twice for the Knights (9-1-3).

The Windham field hockey team (13-2-1) is seeded 3rd in the Division 1 tournament, which opens Wednesday, and will play the winner of Concord-Manchester Central/West at home Saturday at 2 p.m. Exeter (15-1) and Bedford (15-1) are seeded 1-2 and Timberlane (5-8-3) is seeded 10th and will be at Dover Wednesday.

Juan Carlos scored on a penalty kick with less than three minutes remaining to lift Lawrence over Methuen 1-0 to keep the Lancers (5-7-2) playoiff hopes alive.

Trailing 2-0, Haverhill boys soccer scored two late goals to tie Tewksbury. Nicollas Cederman came off bench for first tally with five minutes left and Ephraim Mugwanya scored equalizer two minutes later.

Jonathan Diaz scored all three goals for Methuen in a 3-0 shutout of Dracut. The hat trick gives Diaz seven goals on the season.

Jon Bono had two goals and an assist as North Andover boys soccer remained unbeaten (8-0-2) with a 4-1 win over Lowell.

The Rodriguez cousins Arodi and Andy (game-winner, 5 minutes left) lifted Lawrence soccer to a 2-1 win over Haverhill. The 4-5-1 Lancers are close to qualifying for the state tourney.

Junior Matt Tarabocchia scored his first varsity goal to highlight Windham soccer's 3-0 win over Spaulding. Kyle Gschwend earned the shutout.
