Three different players contributed a goal and an assist as No. 5 Pinkerton soccer rolled over No. 12 Nashua North in the Division 1 North first round. Haley Hicks, Maggie Cohoon and Maura Kane each had a goal and a helper for the Astros, who travel to face No. 4 Manchester Central on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Waldie all-league

 

 

For the second consecutive year, Merrimack field hockey senior goalkeeper Kerri Bergquist was named the league’s best netminder, earning the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Award as the league announced its year-end awards. A first-team All-American and First-Team All-Conference member last fall, Bergquist played a pivotal role toward the team’s success as the Warriors won their second straight regular season title this fall.  For her efforts, Joining Bergquist  on the NE-10 All-Conference first team were North Andover's Candace Waldie, senior forward April Daugherty and Jessica Otis.
