Lawrence splits


Lawrence split four matches at the Division 1 state dual meet tournament at Franklin. Luis Mauricio continued to look good at 106, winning three of four matches. Also going 3-1 for the Lancers were Sammy Estevez (195), Hector Alberto (220) and heavyweight Stanley Alberto. Lawrence is now 23-10 on the year.

Josh Medeiros and Kevin DeAngelo weren't about to waste any time or energy in Pelham's dual meet split with Franklin (36-21) and Milford (24-48). Medeiros posted pin wins in 24 and 32 seconds, totalling 56 seconds of action, four fewer than DeAngelo, who opened with a pin in 18 seconds and then dawdled in match 2, pinning his man in 42 seconds.
