Freshman Agustin Reina won a match apiece at 145 and 152 to spark Greater Lawrence to romps over both Lynn Tech and Nashoba Tech in a rare Monday tri-meet,

Sophomore Dora Csonge from Hungary scored a career-high 17 points to lead surprising Presentation of Mary to a 54-34 victory improving the Panthers to 9-2.

Manny Arias was the man for Whittier boys basketball, dropping 30 points on five 3s in a 52-48 win over Lynn Tech. His efforts helped the Wildcats overcome an 8-for-26 night at the free throw line. 

LYNN — Jose Caceres (18-105, 3 TDs) and Ader Mezidor (12-120, TD) led a dominant running attack and Greater Lawrence roughed up Lynn Tech, 36-8, in a non-playoff game Friday night. Shamil Diaz also had a TD run for the 7-3 Reggies, who led 36-0 late in the third period. The visitors dropped to 6-4. The Reggies had plenty of defensive stars led by defensive back Omar Medina (2 interceptions), linebacker Donnie Croteau (interception) and Alex Cortez (2 sacks).

After sitting out the first two sets with an ankle injury, Tida Ly entered in the third and notched a team-high 12 kills as Greater Lawrence rallied past Lynn Tech 3-2. Shaneley Henriquez added team-highs in service points (17) and aces (6). 

Alyssa Michel not only was tied for the team-high with seven kills, but she also served up eight aces to lead Whittier volleyball to a sweep of Lynn Tech.

Gio Covino went 2 for 4 with three RBIs then pitched the final inning and struck out two to lead Greater Lawrence to an 8-1 win over Lynn Tech.

Katy Quinn two hits, two runs and five RBIs and PMA raced past Lynn Tech, 19-7.

Elaina Latino won both games and was 3 for 3 with three RBIs as Presentation of Mary swept Lynn Tech in a doubleheader.

Pablo Mora won the triple jump (38-8), high jump (6-0) and 110 hurdles (16.4) to lead Greater Lawrence to a meet sweep of Whittier and Lynn Tech.
