Livvy DeCicco went 4 for 4 with two home runs and pitched a complete game, striking out 13, as Haverhill beat Masconomet 7-3 on Monday. Sam Dion went 3 for 3 with two triples and 2 RBI and Kya Burdier drove in two runs for the winners.

In swimming, the Salem girls fell to Pinkerton and beat Windham. The Salem boys fell to Windham and Pinkerton. Leading the Blue Devils were Samantha Malynowski (200 free, 2:13.03), Madison Wilson (200 free, 2:14.25), Wyatt Rice (500 free, 5:32.55) and Rudy Atkins (200 free, 2:01.94). All those were state meet cuts.

Masconomet shaded Haverhill, 50-44, in the Bishop Fenwick Tourney. All-Tourney selection Kya Burdier was tremendous in the two games, totalling 27 points, 24 rebounds and 11 assists and had 19 points vs. Masco.

Heavyweight Brandon Lavasta went 2-0 to lead Lawrence in a quad-meet. The Lancers beat Masconomet-Essex and Pentucket and fell to Natick.

Sam Driend had a career-high 30 kills to go along with 9 digs, 17 service points and 6 aces in a night to remember for Methuen volleyball. The Rangers beat Masconomet, 3-0.

Unbeaten top-seed Masconomet shaded Central Catholic, 8-7, in the Division 1 North girls lax quarterfinals. For the Raiders, Grace Cashman shined with 16 saves and Lily Angluin scored twice. It was Masco's second straight 1-goal win over an MVC team.

Lucas Welling battled for an overtime 5-3 decision at 132 pounds, helping Whittier beat Masconomet/Essex Tech 45-34 in the Division 2 North semifinals.
