St. Thomas whips Windham


DOVER  —  St. Thomas Aquinas flexed its offensive muscles early, moved out to a 20-0 halftime lead and rolled to a 33-12 victory over Windham.

The Jaguars (1-1) broke the shutout in the third quarter on a five-yard run by Scott Priestly and scored again on a 15-yard pass from Joe Lorenz to Colby Larsen

But Beaulieu went a step farther. He wanted to score Windham’s first touchdown.

Windham's Colby Putnam came in third place (20 minutes, 48 seconds) while running for the first time at Windham's cross country new course, half of which is run in the woods. Putnam's effort helped Windham take second place (62) overall in the four-team meet. Hollis-Brookline came in first with 19 points. Sanborn came in third with 65 points.
