Freshman forward Gina Grimes continued an impressive rookie season with a game-high 24 points in a losing cause as Pelham fell to Hollis-Brookline, 72-53.

The Wildcats polished off their fourth win in five days, improving to 12-4 with a dramatic, 77-73, overtime victory over Pelham, N.H.

Jacqui Perry burned Whittier Tech for 21 points in a 68-56 Pelham win over the Wildcats.

Portsmouth eased out to a comfortable lead and held on through a fourth-quarter charge by Pelham to prevail, 68-57. Freshman Gina Grimes continued her fine season with a game-high 23 points for the Pythons.

Thanks to freshman Olivia Bogaczyk, the Pinkerton gymnastics team continues to roll even with standout Courtney Thompson on the sidelines with an injry. Bogaczyk won two events (with a PR score of 9.3 in the beam) and was the all-around winner as the Astros (17-0) defeated Salem and Pelham 130.25-124.35-105.20. Salem's Shireen Kirata was first in the vault and second in all-around.

Caitlyn Shea had a pair of victories including a personal best in the 500 freestyle (5:25.56) as part of Salem's meet against Nashua North, Milford and Pelham. Shea also won the 200 IM while Jackie Mayo triumphed in the 200 freestyle and placed third in the 100 freestyle. Patricia Caiati placed in a pair of events for the Blue Devils (third in the 500 freestyle and fourth in the 200 IM).

Jacqui Perry drained four 3-pointers as part of a team-high 17-point effort in Pelham's 67-41 setback to Oyster River.

A second-half rampage allowed Souhegan to pull away from Pelham for a 76-56 victory. Jacqui Perry (21 points) and Gina Grimes (12 points) provided the offense for the Pythons.

After a week's layoff and in the midst of mid-term exams, Pelham wasn't sharp but still extracted a 44-36 victory over Souhegan. Junior Mike Lombard (11 points and 9 rebounds) and senior Josh Boissonneault (12 boards) locked up the glass, holding Souhegan to one shot per trip and allowing a shaky Python offense to score enough to win. 

Leah Jackson placed second in the all-around and won the vault as Londonderry placed second in a quad-meet. Windham, competing as an independent, got a second and a third from Lauren Massie.
