Michael Killian ran an excellent 5K time of 15:58.5 to hold off Sanborn's Khalil brothers and lead Windham to the title at the Pelham Invitational.
Sophomore Tyson Khalil was second in 16:11.9 and junior Jared Khalil was third in 16:21.9. Sanborn finished second as a team with 79 points, 39 behind Windham.The Jaguars got a 4-5 finish from Logan Carter and Baxter Gower-Hall.
Read More »PELHAM — Campbell came into Friday night's tilt with a 5-1 record but the visitors were outclassed by unbeaten Pelham. Kevin Bodenrader had two touchdown runs and a TD catch in a 41-0 whitewash. Jake Travis threw only three times but two went for scores (to Bodenrader and Jake Cawthron). Travis also returned a pick 55 yards for the game's final points midway through the third quarter. Pelham (5-0) is scheduled to host 2-3 Monadnock on Friday (Oct. 22). The Huskies' game this weekend vs. Winnisquam was cancelled.

Read More »Pelham volleyball (1-10) got its first win of the fall, a 3-2 thriller over Souhegan. The Pythons won Game 5 15-17. Angelina Balzotti had 33 digs and Meaghan Roemer had 4 aces and 14 assists. Coach Jessica Makara said, "These girls have fought so hard this season and with our biggest plays coming from freshman, sophomores and juniors, we will be a force to be reckoned with next year!"

Alex Carroll and Ethan Demmons both scored two touchdowns for the 5-0 Pythons. Jake Travis ran and passed for a score against the overmatched hosts (1-4). Pelham hosts Trinity of Manchester Friday at 7 p.m. Trinity is 4-0 heading into Saturday night's game against Monadnock.

Read More »NORTH SUTTON — Early in the first quarter Friday night, Kevin Bodenrader blocked a punt and Alex Carroll recovered it in the end zone for the touchdown. The onslaught had begun and Pelham led 52-0 early in the third quarter. The backups then got plenty of playing time as the Pythons (3-0) drubbed Kearsarge 52-8. Pelham carried 38 times for 193 yards and didn't attempt a single pass against the now 0-2 hosts. Jake Travis scored three times while Ethan Demmons scored twice. Pelham, which has outscored the opposition 154-21, hosts winless ConVal (0-3) Friday at 7 p.m.
