Wyatt Sanchez scored twice and William Slayton added a goal as North Andover topped Lowell 3-1.

Brianna Iglesias and Shelby Nassar scored first-half goals, and North Andover held off Lynnfield, 2-1. Lizzie McCabe delivered a strong performance in her debut at right midfield for the Knights.

Lun Prochazkova was sharp, dusting the field by 95 seconds in the opening meet of the year and lifting North Andover past Central Catholic in cross country, 21-34.

No. 10 North Andover boys lacrosse fell to No. 7 Franklin 12-7 in the Division 1 Round of 16. The Scarlet Knights finished the season 15-5.

Matt Roy made 14 saves and defensemen Tyler Fay and Jack Dalton dominated the faceoff X to lead North Andover to a 10-4 win over Burlington. Jake Lins led the Scarlet Knights with four goals.

Sophomore Dom Pefine threw a complete-game, three-hit shutout, and freshman Zack Faro led off the seventh with a hit and came around the score the game-winning run with two outs to give North Andover a 1-0 victory over Methuen. 

Andover boys capped an undefeated MVC campaign winning its 11th straight with a 5-0 victory over North Andover. The Warriors enter the postseason having won 14 of its 16 matches. Andrei Giurgiu got Andover started with an epic 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 10-7 win at No. 1 singles. Things went easier for Joe Colecchi and Akarsh Janarthanan who combined to win 24 of their combined 27 sets.

After a 9-8 victory over Chelmsford Friday, ninth-ranked North Andover boys lacrosse will play for the MVC championship at No. 14 Billerica on Tuesday. Charlie Dean had three goals and Patrick Roy and Ollie Litster each added two in Friday's win. Matt Roy made 14 saves.

Andrew Perry delivered the game-winning two-run hit in the eighth as North Andover edged Andover 5-3. AJ Lawrence had a two-rjun single in the second then doubled and scored in the fifth while working 3 1/3 inning relief to earn the pitching victory.
